Woody Guthrie (AP)
Still Listening to Woody Guthrie
Story aired: Monday, March 10, 2003

Woodie Guthrie, the legendary Dust Bowl troubadour, wrote some of America's best-loved folk songs: "This Land Is Your Land," "So Long, It's Been Good Knowing Ya," and "Pastures of Plenty." In recent years, a new generation of musicians has been embracing and reinventing his music for the 21st century. Here and Now folk critic Scott Alarik is here to tell us why Guthrie, who died in 1967, is making such a comeback today.
