Researchers May Have Discovered Deadly Virus

In Hong Kong, nearly 1,100 people are under government-imposed quarantine. In Singapore, 840 people are confined to their homes. And in Canada, public health officials are urging hundreds to take part in a self-imposed quarantine.

All these measures are being put into place to stave the spread of a new virus that world health officials are calling SARS, severe acute respiratory syndrome.
