Coalition Troops Enter Oil Rich Kirkuk

Chaotic celebrations erupted this morning after U.S.-backed Kurdish forces took the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

Amid widespread looting, there was also the sound of jubilant fighters firing their weapons at a mural of Saddam Hussein.

WBUR's Michael Goldfarb who's been reporting from northern Iraq, and joins us to report on the situation in Kirkuk.
