SARS Cases Rise in Beijing

In its 54-year rule, the Communist Party in China has rarely admitted a mistake.

So yesterday's admission of a cover up of the SARS outbreak and the removal of party officials is being seen by some as a crisis that could spark change in every aspect of Chinese culture.
