U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James Kelly arrives at a hotel in Beijing, China, Tuesday, April 22, 2003.
N. Korea, China, and U.S. to Meet for Summit
Story aired: Tuesday, April 22, 2003

Tomorrow the U.S. and North Korea begin three days of meetings in Beijing.

The question: has North Korea already, or will it eventually, begin reprocessing more than 8,000 spent nuclear fuel rods which would enable Pyongyang to make as many as three to four nuclear bombs a month.

Assistant Secretary of State James Kelly will lead the U.S. delegation for the talks, which will include China as well.

Guests:

Doug Struck, Northeast Asia bureau chief for the Washington Post.
