The aftermath of a bombing in the Saudi capital of Riyadh (AP)
Bomb in Saudi Arabia Kills at Least 20
Story aired: Tuesday, May 13, 2003

A 300-foot column of fire soared above usually tranquil fortified walls of gated communities in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh. A well-choreographed assault by suicide bombers targeted and killed or wounded dozens of foreigners.

The attackers who shot their way into the compounds and then set off car bombs are believed to be members of Al Qaeda.
