Miles Davis. His long time record label Columbia calls him the "Picasso of jazz" because of his ever changing styles and lasting influence.

Next month Columbia is releasing a new Miles Davis CD, 12 years after his death.

For fans, anything from Miles Davis is an auspicious occasion, but Here and Now's jazz aficionado James Isaacs says the upcoming record "Miles Davis in Person: Friday and Saturday night at the Blackhawk" is a cause for celebration.
