After weeks of intense diplomacy and closed-door debate, the United Nations Security Council has overwhelmingly approved a resolution which, at least for now, allows the U.S.-led coalition that won the war in Iraq to run the country and its oil industry.

But how open will decisions be about who gets oil money and who doesn't?

Dennis Halliday ran the United Nations Oil for Food Program until he resigned in protest five years ago. He joins here and Now to discuss the future of Iraq's oil.
