Israeli, Palestinian Officials Pledge Concessions

There were important words in the Jordanian town of Aqaba today, and some actions too, where Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and President George Bush.

The Palestinian prime minister pledged to push for an end to all violent terrorist actions against Israel.

The Israeli prime minister said he'd start dismantling some Jewish West Bank settlements.

The American president said he's going provide training and support for a new restructured Palestinian Security Service which has been decimated by the Israeli Army in the past two years.
