Vice President Dick Cheney (AP)
Report Says Cheney Pressured CIA on Iraq
Story aired: Thursday, June 05, 2003

The Bush administration and the Blair government in London insist that one day soon, weapons of mass destruction will be found in Iraq.

Critics say the harder they look, the less credible Bush and Blair's pre-war claims seem, the claims that Saddam Hussein had large stores of weapons ready for offensive use.

Today's Washington Post adds new details to the story. Walter Pincus, who covers national security for the paper and co-wrote today's article, joins Here and Now.
