Britain Demands Surrender of Iraqi Gunmen

British military officials now say that six royal military police killed in southern Iraq yesterday died after Iraqis became angry when soldiers conducting home searches entered women's rooms. A spontaneous eruption of violence, seemingly, in this case.

But a second ambush of British troops in the same area of Southern Iraq, which injured at least eight, seems to have been a highly organized, coordinated attack.
