Israeli Forces Begin Gaza Pullout
Story aired: Monday, June 30, 2003



Israeli tanks turned their turrets today, and began their withdrawal from parts of Gaza.

Israeli and Palestinian commanders shook hands as bulldozers removed road barriers and Gazans returned to jobs.

There were also two shooting incidents today in the West Bank. In one, a foreign worker on an Israeli construction team was shot dead by a Palestinian splinter group that hasn't signed on to the truce.
