CD cover, "Sleeping with Ghosts"
Placebo
Story aired: Tuesday, August 05, 2003

Adjectives abound when it comes to describing the hot British band Placebo: Gothic, glam, with a gut wrenching hard driven punk popping sound.

Although the group is not well known in the United States, Placebo is huge in Gothic and glam circles in Europe and through the years one of the band's biggest supporters has been the master of glitter David Bowie.

Brian Molko, the lead singer of the band, spoke to Here and Now producer April Peavey about the band's success.

Guests:

Brian Molko, lead singer, Placebo.
