Liberian President Taylor Resigns

Liberian president Charles Taylor stepped down today.

In a ceremony attended by several African leaders, Taylor transferred power to his vice president, Moses Blah. Over the last three years it is estimated that thousands have been killed and millions more have been left homeless.
