Rain Plagues U.S. Open
Story aired: Friday, September 05, 2003

Tennis players at the U.S. Open are back in action today; persistent rain and soggy courts had kept competitors away from the net for all but four games between Monday and Wednesday and created a serious backlog of matches.

The week has been a comedy of mishaps, a combination of bad weather and bad luck which has nearly overshadowed the matches and the players.

Peter Bodo, the editor of Tennis Magazine, joins Here and Now to discuss the bad luck at the U.S. Open.
