California's New Governor

Gray Davis was booted out of office by an angry electorate, urged Californians to "put the chaos and division" behind them. Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger had the same message.

But how easy will it be for a Republican governor to manage a state in which Democrats dominate the legislature and hold every other statewide elected office, the budget deficit is at crisis level, and voters clearly want change?

John Wildermuth, political writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, joins us to discuss Arnold Schwarzenegger's challenges as new governor.
