Camp Delta at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba
Questioning Terrorists
Story aired: Thursday, October 09, 2003

Hambali, Khaled Sheikh Mohamed, and Ramzi Bin Al Shibh: top names in the Al Qaeda network who are now in prison cells in secret locations around the world. They and their captured foot soldiers have provided valuable information to U.S. and other interrogators about past and future attacks.

According to our two guests, they are a goldmine of other information that has yet to be tapped. Our guests have traveled the world meeting with terrorists who are still at large, and, they say, it's time the interrogators let them take a crack at the men behind bars.

Jessica Stern is the author of "Terror in the Name of God" and a lecturer at Harvard University.

Zachary Abuza is author of "Militant Islam in Southeast Asia."

Guests:

Jessica Stern of Harvard University and Zachary Abuza of Simmons College.
