Kill Bill
Story aired: Friday, October 10, 2003

In Hollywood, cutting a movie can be a heart-wrenching task, but Quentin Tarantino seems to have cut himself a rare deal for his new film, "Kill Bill."

He got the green light to split the three hour Asian-influenced epic into two, 90-minute serial films. Volume One, starring Uma Thurman as a former assassin bent on revenge, opens today in theaters around the country.

"Kill Bill" is Quentin Tarantino's first film in six years. Here and now's film reviewer Eric Schaefer gives us his word on Tarantino's return.
