Muhammad Pleads Innocent in Sniper Case

In the white button-down shirt and tie of a conservative office worker or bank clerk, 42-year-old John Allen Muhammad appeared in court today, one of two men accused in last year's murderous 3-week shooting rampage in and around Washington that left 10 people dead.

Muhammad told a judge in Virginia Beach, Virginia that he understood the charges against him which could bring the death penalty.

Thelma Lebrect of the Associated Press joins Here and Now to discuss the trial.
