Promotional poster detail, "Pieces of April"
Pieces of April
Story aired: Friday, October 17, 2003

Thanksgiving is over a month away, but members of some families are already breaking out in a cold sweat: dysfunctional families, for whom an annual reunion around a turkey is torture.

In the new film "Pieces of April," April, played by Katie Holmes, is desperately making Thanksgiving dinner, and her family has so little faith in her abilities. They make a pit stop at a Krispy Kreme donut store on the way to her apartment.

Film critic Renee Graham gives us her view of the film "Pieces of April."

Guests:

Renee Graham, film reviewer.
