Baghdad Bombs Hit Red Cross, Police
Story aired: Monday, October 27, 2003

At a briefing in Baghdad today, Brigadier General Mark Hertling, a U.S. military spokesman, said the group or groups who seem to be behind today's series of bombings are probably not Iraqis.

Hertling said the bombings were "not something we've seen in the past with the former regime loyalists" and that there were indications that the attacks were from foreign fighters.

Iraqi journalist Duraid Isa joins Here and Now to discuss the attacks.
