President George Bush (AP)
Bush Wants Bigger Role for Iraqis
Story aired: Thursday, November 13, 2003

With casualties mounting in Iraq and shrinking support from the American public, President George Bush spoke to reporters this morning about the need to speed up the creation of a new Baghdad government.

In addition to more involvement from the Iraqi people, other scenarios are being explored, including a smaller Iraqi Governing Council and possibly establishing an interim government before a new constitution is written.
