Turkey Bombing Kills 26
Story aired: Thursday, November 20, 2003

Truck bombs devastated the headquarters of a British bank and the British Consulate in Turkey, killing the British Consul General Roger Short, and at least 2 dozen others. As many as 400 are injured.

The violence occurred just hours before a scheduled press conference in London between U.S. President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Both leaders said the attacks only stiffened their resolve.
