Album cover detail, "Let it Be...Naked"
Let It Be...Naked
Story aired: Monday, November 24, 2003

The Beatles and their legendary rock producer Phil Spector are both back in the news --for decidedly different reasons. Spector has been charged with murder in the death of a woman in his home. The Beatles' George Harrison was named posthumously as a new member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his solo career.

The Beatles and Spector also diverge on the newly released "Let It Be...Naked," a stripped down version of the 1970 album.

Here to explain and to give us a heads up on other Beatles re-releases, is Here and Now music critic Tim Riley.

Guests:

Tim Riley, music critic.
