Al Gore Backs Dean for Nomination

Presidential candidate Howard Dean has new fuel in his campaign tank today with the endorsement of former Vice President Al Gore, who won the popular vote in 2000 but lost the election.

Gore's endorsement comes just five weeks before the Iowa Caucuses and six weeks before the New Hampshire Primary. Candidate Dean said it was an honor to receive Gore's support.

Gore and Dean head to Cedar Rapids, Iowa later today.
