Outkast's Andre 3000
Outkast
Story aired: Thursday, January 08, 2004

"Shake it like a Polaroid picture" is the line from the hit song "Hey Ya" from the hip hop duo Outkast.

Polaroid has jumped on the Outkast bandwagon, launching a marketing campaign to get cameras into the hands of young fans, many of whom didn't have a clue what a Polaroid was until their favorite group told them to shake it.

Outkast is Grammy-nominated for Album of the Year for "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below," which is two CDs, one for each member of the duo. It made most critics end of year top CD lists. Here to say "I told you so," is Renee Graham, critic for the Boston Globe.
