As the eight Democratic presidential candidates hit the stump before the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primary, volunteers, friends and family are joining them. One woman close to candidate Howard Dean is not expected to appear: Dr. Judith Dean, Howard Dean's wife.

Since her husband threw is hat in the race, Judith Dean has quietly continued her practice in medicine and rarely speaks to the press. However, last fall she sat down with Bob Kinzel of Vermont Public Radio.
