A Look at Iowa Voters

Iowans will gather at in kitchens and living rooms this evening to cast votes in their state's quaint and complicated caucuses.

Four Democratic candidates -- Gephardt, Dean, Edwards and Kerry -- are said to be in a dead heat in polling. But what percentage of Iowa voters take part in the party caucuses? And who are these voters?

Steffen Schmidt, professor of political science at Iowa State University, talks about the caucuses and the type of people that participate in them.
