Dean Faces Money Problems

After losses in Iowa and New Hampshire, the former Democratic front-runner Howard Dean has given his campaign team a vigorous shake-up.

In comes Roy Neel, a longtime Clinton-Gore aide and a consummate Washington insider. Out goes Joe Trippi, the Dean campaign manager who more than anyone is credited with using the internet to build an unprecedented grassroots political organization and raise record amounts of money.

A lot of that money, it turns out, went back to Joe Trippi.

So what are the grassroots making of this apparent turning point in the Dean campaign?
