Bush Endorses Gay Marriage Ban

President Bush turned the heat up on the gay marriage battle today, calling for an amendment to the Constitution which would codify marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

Bush said the amendment is needed to "prevent the meaning of marriage from being changed forever."

Joining Here and Now to talk about the latest development in the gay marriage controversy is Andrea Stone, congressional correspondent for USA Today.
