Bush Endorses Gay Marriage Ban Story aired: Tuesday, February 24, 2004
President Bush turned the heat up on the gay marriage battle today, calling for an amendment to the Constitution which would codify marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
Bush said the amendment is needed to "prevent the meaning of marriage from being changed forever."
