Haiti Rebels Reject U.S. Peace Plan

A rebel assault is being waged in Haiti's north, and could spread next to the capital of Port-au-Prince.

The Haitian opposition has rejected a U.S. brokered peace plan and continues to demand the immediate removal of Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide.
