Super Tuesday Approaches
Story aired: Monday, March 01, 2004

In less than 48 hours, President George Bush will have a good idea who he'll go head-to-head with in November. Frontrunner John Kerry is hoping to clinch the Democratic nomination with tomorrow's Super Tuesday primaries.

Rival John Edwards wants and needs to slow down Kerry's momentum. Kerry and Edwards, along with fellow challengers Al Sharpton and Dennis Kucinich, debated last night in New York.

Here and Now looks at two of the 10 states that comprise Super Tuesday: Ohio, with 140 delegates, and California, the state with the most delegates at 370 delegates.

Guests:

Bill Cohen, Ohio Public Radio and TV

Cy Musiker, journalist in San Francisco.
