Car Bombs Cause Carnage in Basra

A series of car bombs went off almost simultaneously today in the southern Iraqi city of Basra. The suicide attacks happened during rush hour and more than 60 people were killed.

The governor of Basra said Al Qaeda may have played a role in the well-coordinated attacks in Iraq's second largest city.
