Terrorist Report
Story aired: Monday, June 14, 2004

Secretary of State Colin Powell is meeting with CIA officials today to find out why a recent State Department report cited a decrease in terrorism, when the opposite is true.

This weekend, Powell speaking on ABC's "This Week", said mistakes were made. Shortly after the erroneous report was released in April of this year, Congressman Henry Waxman sent a letter to the State Department saying several major attacks had been excluded from the report, and that terrorist attacks were actually at their highest level in decades.
