Today the free-wheeling, psychedelic jam band Phish releases its latest, and last, studio album, "Undermind." The new recording might offer some solace to the scores of loyal Phish fans still reeling from news that the foursome is breaking up, after twenty years.

The pianist, guitarist, drummer, and bassist started playing together in the '80s at the University of Vermont, and like the Grateful Dead, they've built, and kept, a dedicated following through their live shows, an active website, news letters, and letting those fans tape, and trade, their live shows. Phish's farewell concert will be in Vermont this August. We have a review of their new release, and reflections from some Phish's fans.
