Path to June 30
Story aired: Monday, June 21, 2004

Four more American troops were killed in the Sunni Muslim stronghold of Ramadi today, as controversy continues about the Saturday airstrikes that the U.S. says killed key figures in the network of suspected terrorist, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Earlier today, we spoke with the Deputy Director of Coalition Operations, Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt from Baghdad about what he expects might happen between now and the June 30th scheduled transfer of sovereignty there. We began by asking him about the deaths in Ramadi.
