Kerry's Choice Story aired: Friday, July 02, 2004
A USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll shows most Democrats think defeating the president is far more important than who John Kerry chooses as a running mate.
It may not be important to voters, but it is the talk of Washington. John Kerry is keeping his cards on a vice presidential pick very close to the vest. Word is he'll announce his choice next week. We know today that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has taken himself off the list.
Though John Edwards is perhaps the most talked about vice president prospect, it may be a bit premature to break out the stickers for a Kerry-Edwards campaign.
