Bomb Detonates Near Iraq's British Embassy
Story aired: Wednesday, July 14, 2004



A suicide car bomber blew himself up at the gates of the American controlled Green Zone in central Baghdad.

At least 11 people died and dozens more were injured in that blast.

It was the deadliest attack in the capital since Iraq's interim government took over on June 28th.
