Julia Child, Gourmet of Television's "French Chef," Dies

Julia Child, America's favorite French chef, died in her California home yesterday, a few days short of her 92nd birthday. Through her books and television programs, she introduced millions of Americans to French food. Four years ago, Here & Now's Athena Desai interviewed child at her Cambridge, Massachusetts, home in the kitchen designed by her late husband. Child had just been awarded the Legion of Honor by the French government.
