Grading Charter Schools

A national study of charter schools shows they may be performing below expectations.


Of the 3,000 charter schools nationwide, more than 80 have been forced to closed for poor performance or financial problems. Charter schools were supposed to be an alternative to failing public schools. So why are charters failing to make the grade?
