Michael Badnarik
Third Party Politics
Story aired: Monday, August 23, 2004

George W. Bush could get "Nadered" in 2004. That's according to political scientist Larry Jacobs, at the Herbert Humphrey Institute of Public Policy. He explains that just a small number of independents and disaffected Republicans voting Libertarian this November could spoil Bush's bid in crucial swing states. But the Libertarians are not in the race to steal votes, nor do they expect to win. They're running to gain support for the Libertarian Party. To learn more about the party, and better understand the Libertarian message, we're joined now by Michael Badnarik, the Libertarian presidential candidate.

Guests:

Michael Badnarik, Libertarian presidential candidate

Larry Jacobs, Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Policy
