Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Sue
Story aired: Tuesday, December 07, 2004

Twelve soldiers who were kicked out of the military after revealing that they were gay are challenging the Pentagon's don't ask-don't tell policy in federal court. The lawsuit, filed in Boston yesterday, cites last year's Supreme Court case that overturned state laws classifying gay sex as a crime.

Guests:

Tom Cook, former U.S. army specialist who was discharged from the army after telling his commander that he was gay

Sharon Alexander, of the Service Members' Legal Defense Network.
