Blast Kills Former Lebanese Prime Minister

A massive bomb explosion powerful enough to blast a 30-foot crater in the streets of downtown Beirut killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafkik Hariri. At least nine others also died and more than a hundred people were injured.

Hariri was a billionaire who served as prime minister for ten years. He is credited with helping to rebuild a country shattered by civil war.
