Close up from page 89 of the Crate and Barrel autumn catalogue.
Dinner Dates
Story aired: Monday, February 21, 2005

A conceptual artist from San Francisco is traveling across the country to find dinner companions.

It all started when Marc Horowitz was working as a photo assistant on a Crate and Barrel catalog shoot. He thought the dry erase board looked too blank and decided to fill it with his cell phone number.

Thousands of people who saw it called the number. Marc is now driving around the country to meet them for dinner.

Guests:

Marc Horowitz.
