The Irish Republican Army is making what by all accounts is an extraordinary public admission: that it offered to kill the four men it says are responsible for the vicious murder of a Catholic man in a January bar brawl. What's more, it made the offer to the family of murder victim Robert McCartney. The family turned it down because they are waging an unprecedented campaign to have his murderers tried in court
