Rivals Return to the Field
Story aired: Thursday, April 07, 2005

"Fever Pitch" is a new comedy about a die hard Red Sox fan and his long suffering girlfriend. The film ends with the stars running onto the field during the Red Sox World Series win. But as it opens tomorrow, the Sox are trailing the New York Yankees two games to one.

American League East rivals New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will play 15 more regular season games. This includes Monday's Fenway Park home opener where the Red Sox will receive their World Series ring as the Yankees look on.

Only a Game host Bill Littlefield talks with New York Post sports columnist Mike Vaccaro and asked him what conclusions could be drawn from this week's three game series in the Bronx.
