Cell Phones: More for Just Talking
Story aired: Friday, May 20, 2005

There are 1.5 billion cell phones worldwide, 690 million sold last year, six times the number of laptops, and wireless companies are cramming in all the bells and whistles they can, turning the cell phone into a digital Swiss army knife. Some see it as an emerging medium and are actually producing original movies and shows to be viewed on cell phones.

Guests:

Bruce Upbin, senior editor at Forbes Magazine.

Lucy Hood, who oversees the Fox Wireless Entertainment Group.
