A new and daring adaptation of Franz Kafka's uncompleted first novel "Amerika" is now being staged at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge.

The adaptation comes from the mind of the wunderkind Gideon Lester, who came to the ART straight out of Oxford University and is associate artistic director.
