Tom DeLay (AP FILE PHOTO)
The Delay Indictment
Story aired: Thursday, September 29, 2005

For the first time in ten years, Majority Whip Tom Delay -- the man revered and reviled for his ability to twist arms and win votes -- is not in the Republican leadership ranks. Delay was forced to step down yesterday after being indicted by a grand jury in Texas on a charge of conspiracy to violate the state's election laws, by violating a Texas ban on the use of corporate money for state candidates.
