Hughes on Listening Tour

As Al Qaeda tries to get its message out, Karen Hughes, the close confidant of President Bush and now the new undersecretary of state is on a public relations offensive for the U.S. in the Middle East.

It is a listening tour, and Hughes is getting an earful.

In Istanbul, Turkish female activists blasted Hughes over the war in Iraq. Hughes' response: women in Iraq are better off now, than they were under Saddam Hussein.
